Building attachments
The decision as to which sealant to use in which circumstances requires specialised knowledge of construction chemistry and construction physics. Our technical advisers have the requisite know- how to be able to advise you regarding your particular situation.
Sealing material
Terostat-998R is a solvent-free, 2-component polysulphide-based adhesive/sealant that is available in two viscosities: standard and low-viscosity. The rheological properties of the material have been selected to permit both manual and automatic processing. It is used in the manufacture of laminated insulating glass in conjunction with Terostat-960 or -969. Terostat-998R bonds with glass, aluminium, zinc and galvanised steel without the need for a primer.
