This esco product family currently comprises the KM 15, KM 30, KM 35 and KM 40 chain drives. All chain drives are characterised by their compact dimensions, large power capacity and many special, smart features.
The KM 15 series has been added so that all tilt and turn opening types can be designed with discretely integrated, very small chain drives. The requisite controllers are integrated into the motors and don't require any special electronics expertise on the part of the metal-working engineer.
The central showpiece in the range is the KM 35 chain motor, which boasts universal application possibilities and excellent performance data. It is used to open tilting-wing and top-hinged sash windows, rotary-wing windows and vertical sash windows, for ventilation for profile-integrated or mounted installation and, depending on the power level, for smoke extraction.
All the motors in the KM 35 series can be operated via smoke and heat-exhaust (SHE) control centres, building system control technology or pushbuttons. The impressive product features also include the stainless steel chain, the sealing effect via the chain motor's tensile force, the jolt-free smooth start and the automatic limit switch-off. The opening widths of 20 – 300 (300 mm stroke) or 20 – 500 mm (500 mm stroke) can be adjusted steplessly by the manufacturer.
The wing or frame installation is designed to optimum effect. Thanks to the extensive range of accessories, it can be used in any application.
Thanks to the motor's integrated controller for tandem, triple or locking-stroke motors, the metal-working engineer has the option of simplified, elegant handling, which makes it very popular.
